RUSH Fan Convention RushCon 8 To Be Held In July

March 21, 2008

This coming July, the city of Toronto will once again be teaming with multitudes of RUSH fans eager to attend the annual RushCon fan convention.

RushCon 8 will be held July 8-10 at the Days Hotel & Conference Center in downtown Toronto.

The following events are planned for this year's convention:

* Tuesday night, July 8: "In the Mood" Mixer a great place to meet fellow fans, enjoy some hors d'oeuvres, and listen to RUSH!
* Wednesday day, July 9: RUSH-based Games and Charity Auction fun game show style games give you a chance to win cool RUSH prizes, and a RUSH memorabilia auction (including autographed items!) benefitting the Daily Bread Food Bank of Toronto.
* Wednesday evening/night, July 9: Toronto Harbour boat cruise to the RUSH show!
* Thursday day, July 10: RUSH fans invade the city - we'll have a couple of optional events, exploring Toronto.

RushCon is hosted by Force 10 Enterprises, a non-profit organization formed entirely by RUSH fans for RUSH fans. Force 10 was formed exclusively to host RushCon and ensure that each year the proceeds are donated to the designated charity, the Daily Bread Food Bank of Toronto.
