Former RUSH producer Terry Brown will be a guest speaker at the European RUSH fan convention EuCon'07, which will be held on Sunday, October 14 at Manchester Academy 2, part of Manchester University Student Union building on Oxford Rd. in Manchester, England. The event starts at 11:00 a.m. and finishes at 6:00 p.m., with RUSH itself serving up the evenings entertainment. According to a posting on the RUSH fan site RushIsABand.com, the Canadian rock power trio will play several indoor dates in the U.S. and Canada in the spring of 2008. This leg will kick off with a two- or three-night stand at the Etess Arena at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City sometime in March. The band will then move up The East Coast to Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Atlantic Canada to wrap up the first set of dates before heading south for a handful of shows in late March through early April which will include New Orleans, New Mexico, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Mississippi.

RUSH's 18th studio album, "Snakes & Arrows", debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart with sales of 93,000 copies. The disc is the first collection of all-new RUSH material since 2002's "Vapor Trails" and the 27th RUSH release to make the Billboard album chart. The band's chart peak was in 1993, when "Counterparts" debuted at No. 2.
