RUSH: 'Snakes & Arrows' Rebounds On Billboard Chart

July 5, 2007

RUSH's new album, "Snakes & Arrows", has rebounded a bit on the Billboard album chart in the U.S. After nearly falling out of the top 100 last week at #93 with sales of just over 8,000 copies, this week it moves back up nearly 40 spots to come in at #55 (with sales of 13,400 copies). This substantial jump is mostly due to last week's release of the MVI version of "Snakes & Arrows". It also jumped 30 spots back into the top 50 from #75 to #45 on the Canadian chart.

RUSH's 18th studio album, "Snakes & Arrows", debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart with sales of 93,000 copies. The disc is the first collection of all-new RUSH material since 2002's "Vapor Trails" and the 27th RUSH release to make the Billboard album chart. The band's chart peak was in 1993, when "Counterparts" debuted at No. 2.

"Snakes & Arrows" has sold 201,000 copies in the United States since its May 1 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
