SABBAT Frontman To Guest On 'The Powersurge'

Martin Walkyier, former frontman of SKYCLAD/THE CLAN DESTINED and current singer for SABBAT, will be interviewed by Eric Bryan (from "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey") on "The Powersurge" this Saturday, May 19. The program will air from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST on Cal State University Long Beach's Kbeach.org, and will mark the last episode of "The Powersurge" for the spring semester.

A four-minute video clip of the reactivated U.K. thrashers SABBAT performing at the Keep It True VIII festival on April 14, 2007 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany has been posted online at YouTube.

Sanctuary Records has just reissued two classic SABBAT albums: "History of a Time to Come" (1988) and "Dreamweaver" (1989). The remastered CDs contain audio recordings from the band's 1990 concert in East Berlin, which was previously released as the official "The End of the Beginning" video.

A short video clip of SABBAT being interviewed and rehearsing for their December 2006 U.K. tour as the support act for CRADLE OF FILTH has been posted online at YouTube.com. A Quicktime version can be found at this location.

SABBAT has been confirmed for this year's D.O.D. Festival (formerly Day of Darkness),set to take place July 6-7 at Ballylinan, Co Laois, Ireland. The band will also perform at the Bloodstock Open Air festival, which will be held August 16-18 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England.
