SACRED REICH To Perform Short Set At METAL BLADE RECORDS' 30th-Anniversary Show

October 31, 2012

On November 30, Arizona thrash metal veterans SACRED REICH will perform a short set in between GYPSYHAWK and ARMORED SAINT at Metal Blade Records' 30th-anniversary show at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California. The set will serve as a brief preview of the concert SACRED REICH has announced for February 23 at the Key Club in Hollywood, which will mark their first full performance in Los Angeles in over 16 years!

Commented SACRED REICH vocalist/bassist Phil Rind: "We are excited to be involved in Metal Blade's 30th-anniversary celebration. Metal Blade were the firat st to offer us an opportunity on 'Metal Massacre 8', which led to a record deal and the release of 'Ignorance' and 'Surf Nicaragua'. Three of the best records ever — SLAYER's 'Hell Awaits', D.R.I.'s 'Dealing With It' and C.O.C.'s 'Animosity' — were all on Metal Blade. [Label honcho] Brian Slagel was and still is a huge fan and advocate for metal! We are looking forward to saying thank you to Brian and everyone at Metal Blade in the best way possible, loud and fast!"

SACRED REICH's new DVD+CD package, "Live At Wacken", will be released in North America on November 20 in North America through Metal Blade. The set contains professionally filmed and recorded footage of the band's August 4, 2007 performance at the Wacken Open Air festival in Wacken, Germany in front of 60,000 heavy metal fans.
