SAHG: In Writing Mode
December 18, 2006Norwegian heavy rockers SAHG, featuring members of GORGOROTH, MANNGARD and AUDREY HORNE, have issued the following update:
"SAHG is currently writing and rehearsing songs for the second album, which for the time being is due for release autumn 2007. The new material is quickly taking shape, and we plan to start recording already in January.
"We are most happy with the way the new material is turning out, and at the moment it looks like the album will contain an even wider variation than 'Sahg I', spanning from fast and propulsive, via slow and gloomy, to some experimental acoustic pieces. No songtitles or working title for the album yet, but this will be posted shortly."
As previously reported, a video clip of SAHG performing the song "The Executioner Undead" at the Hole In The Sky festival in August 2006 in Bergen, Norway has been posted online at YouTube.com.
SAHG's debut album, "Sahg 1", was released in July via Candlelight Records. Taking influence from classics — PENTAGRAM, ELECTRIC WIZARD, KYUSS and MONSTER MAGNET (to name a few) — it has been said SAHG rock with a groove that would "make John Bonham proud!"
