SAHG To Film 'Pyromancer' Video
January 22, 2008SAHG, the Norwegian heavy rockers who feature in their ranks members of GORGOROTH, MANNGARD and AUDREY HORNE, will film a video for the song "Pyromancer" — taken from the group's forthcoming second album, "Sahg II" — on January 26-27 with director Asle Birkeland, who has previously created clips for ENSLAVED and AUDREY HORNE. According to the band, "the script is promised to be loaded with prophetic mystique and blazing sorcery, and will be a vivid visualisation of the song's theme on supernatural spiritual powers."
SAHG recently unveiled the cover artwork for "Sahg II". The artwork was created by renowned graphic wizard Martin Kvamme (cover artist for TURBONEGRO, FANTOMAS, TOMAHAWK, DARKTHRONE, and many more) and can be viewed at this location.
SAHG put the finishing touches on "Sahg II" with renowned producer and ex-ANTHRAX guitarist Rob Caggiano. Caggiano has recorded and produced a wide range of artists, from CRADLE OF FILTH to BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN.

SAHG premiered a new song — "Ascent to Decadence" — from the upcoming CD at the five-year-anniversary celebration/party for "Pyro", a Norwegian hard rock radio show, at Hulen in Bergen, Norway. Watch video footage of the performance below.
SAHG's new album will be released later in the year via Regain Records. The band was assisted in the studio by Brynjulv Guddal, who was doing triple duty as drummer, engineer and co-producer. Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Echoes Ring Forever" and "From Conscious Sleep".
SAHG's debut album, "Sahg 1", was released in July 2006 via Candlelight Records.
Taking influence from classics — PENTAGRAM, ELECTRIC WIZARD, KYUSS and MONSTER MAGNET (to name a few) — it has been said SAHG rock with a groove that would "make John Bonham proud!"
