SALEM Jam With BEHEMOTH's NERGAL: Photos Posted Online

June 15, 2004

Israeli death/black metallers SALEM have uploaded several pictures from their special performance at the City Hall club in Hifa on May 24 (Independence Day of Israel) when they were joined by special guest Nergal of the Polish metal band BEHEMOTH. Check out the photos here.

Nergal had previously commented on the jam. "I didn't expect the crowd to be sooo crazy and hungry for metal! We did two BEHEMOTH songs, a SALEM song and two cover songs (VENOM and NIN). It was a riot! What happened on stage was pure chaos and insanity. I'm really thankful I got this chance to play in front of such an excellent crowd! You made my day! I cannot forget the crazy Russian bastards who made this show even crazier — you rule! And last but not least, I have to say THANK U to Angel Ogasta and Oron for all the hospitality and taking good care of me in the Holy Land. I really hope I can come back here with full BEHEMOTH lineup and burn this place to the ground, ha ha...see ya all soon!"
