SAMMY HAGAR: South Lake Tahoe Shows Postponed Due To Illness

May 2, 2007

Sammy Hagar's three previously announced South Lake Tahoe anniversary shows on May 4, May 5 and May 6 have been postponed due to "illness," according to a posting on Hagar's web site.

As previously reported, Hagar is scheduled to open a Cabo Wabo Cantina (music, food and tequila joint) in Fresno this fall.

Hagar, a former VAN HALEN frontman and longtime solo musician, opened the first Cabo Wabo in 1990 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, a resort town at the tip of Baja. His Cabo Wabo Tequila business took off shortly afterward.

A song called "Cabo Wabo" appeared on VAN HALEN's 1988 release, "OU812".
