SAMMY HAGAR To Play Benefit Concert For Mill Valley's Throckmorton Theater

August 21, 2008

Sammy Hagar has joined fellow celebrities, actor/comedian Robin Williams, comedian Robert Klein and musician/producer Narada Michael Walden, in championing the Throckmorton Theater in Mill Valley, California.

The Throckmorton has been a Mill Valley fixture since 1915 when it started running Charlie Chaplin movies at the hefty ticket price of 25 cents. It has remained the center of arts and culture scene in Mill Valley and is majorly supported by donations.

SAMMY HAGAR & THE WABOS will perform at "A Rockin' Hot Benefit Bash" at Throckmorton Theatre on Wednesday, August 27. Doors are at 7:30 p.m., showtime is 8:00 p.m.

Sammy has generously donated his time to keep art in Mill Valley alive and will perform for a select few on August 27. One hundred percent of all proceeds will benefit 142 Throckmorton.

If you haven't seen Sammy before, this is an unbelievable opportunity to catch him in the most intimate setting he will ever play. It's going to be a great night for a worthy cause!
