SANCTITY: In Writing Mode

March 4, 2008

North Carolina thrashers SANCTITY — who are rumored to have parted ways with Roadrunner Records following the release of their latest CD, "Road to Bloodshed" — have issued the following update:

"We are all good back here in North Carolina. We are currently writing new songs and so far they are pretty brutal. Can't wait to get them out we are stoked. The new lineup will be released soon so stay tuned with us for that."

SANCTITY recently parted ways with Jared MacEachern (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Derek Anderson (bass) "for personal reasons." Brian Stephenson took care of the vocal duties during the band's recent tour with SONATA ARCTICA while Zach Jordan and Scott Smith (both in ABOVE THE MEANS) filled in on guitar and bass, respectively.

SANCTITY's video for the song "Beloved Killer" can be viewed below. The clip was shot in Asheville, NC with director Ramon Boutviseth. The track comes off the "Road to Bloodshed" CD, which hit stores in April 2007.
