SANCTITY Involved In U.K. Van Crash; Photos Available
April 18, 2007While touring the U.K. supporting TRIVIUM, Asheville, North Carolina-based classic metal quartet SANCTITY was involved in an accident last night (Tuesday, April 17) in Nottingham, England when a taxi hit the band's van, driving them into a brick wall. Thankfully, no one was injured, just a few bumps and bruises. The band is hitching a ride with their friends in TRIVIUM until the van can be repaired.

SANCTITY will be on the road with TRIVIUM through the start of June when they return back to the States.
The band's Roadrunner Records debut, "Road to Bloodshed", hits stores on Tuesday, April 24. In the meantime, tune in to MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" on Saturday, April 21 to check out the group's video for "Beneath the Machine".
SANCTITY formed in 2000 and is comprised of Jared MacEachern (vocals, rhythm guitar),Zeff Childress (lead guitar),Derek Anderson (bass) and Jeremy London (drums). The band was signed by longtime Roadrunner A&R man and purveyor of seminal metal bands like SEPULTURA, SLIPKNOT, and — most recently — TRIVIUM, Monte Conner.
SANCTITY took part in last year's Gigantour alongside MEGADETH, LAMB OF GOD, ARCH ENEMY and OPETH.
