SAPREMIA, ZIRCON To Team Up For 'The Southern Despair' Tour

New Jersey-based old-school death metallers SAPREMIA will team up with Worcester, Massachusetts' ZIRCON for The Southern Despair tour beginning later this month.

Confirmed dates are as follows:

Aug. 23 - Cherrywood Rock Club - Clementon, NJ
Aug. 24 - Mojo 13 - Wilmingston, DE
Aug. 25 - White Horse Pub - Virginia Beach, VA
Aug. 26 - Volume 11 Tavern - Realeigh, NC
Aug. 27 - Longbrand Saloon - Knoxville, TN
Aug. 28 - DeSoto's - Beckley, WV
Aug. 29 - BoomBoom Room - St. Albans, WV
Aug. 30 - Sterling Hotel - Allentown, PA

SAPREMIA's full-length debut, "With Winter Comes Despair", was released last month via Open Grave Records.

Formed in the early 1990s as a five-piece, SAPREMIA's current lineup features Lou Ferrara (bass, vocals),Brian Valenti (guitar),Brian Rulli (guitar),and Ryan Hill (drums). The band released its first new material in over 10 years in August 2007 on the limited-edition "Hollow" EP. On top of five new songs, "Hollow" included the band's original demos remastered as bonus cuts.
