April 10, 2012

Arizona-based death/thrash metallers SARGON have completed work on their new EP, "The Bitter End", at Arcane Digital Recording studios in Chandler, Arizona with producer Ryan Butler (EXHUMED, MISERY INDEX, LANDMINE MARATHON). This marks the first SARGON recording to feature bassist Kelly Conlon (DEATH, MONSTROSITY) and new drummer Rickard Stjernquist (JAG PANZER).

SARGON once again utilized the services of Panamanian guitar virtuoso Rod Denis, who previously recorded lead guitar tracks on the band's full-length debut album, "In Contempt", released last year via Old Cemetery Records.

Due to be released digitally on Tuesday, April 24, "The Bitter End" will feature the following track listing:

01. The Bitter End (Conlon, Van Kwartel)
02. Wretched Affliction (Van Kwartel)
03. Thrash N' Roll (Van Kwartel) (remastered bonus track from "In Contempt")

SARGON 2012 is:

Frank Van Kwartel: Guitar, Vocals
Kelly Conlon: Bass
Rickard Stjernquist: Drums

SARGON is scheduled to perform at the Central Illinois Deathfest on Friday, July 13.
