Satan Vs. BLABBERMOUTH.NET: 'Club Satan' Director Slams Detractors

March 11, 2007

Shane Bugbee, an actual priest in the Church Of Satan who wrote and directed "Club Satan: The Witches' Sabbath", which is being touted as "the first-ever Satanic porn," has slammed the BLABBERMOUTH.NET detractors for attacking the film's concept.

According to the filmmakers, "Club Satan: The Witches' Sabbath" offers viewers "real Satanism, the very best music, plus hot wax, urine, and gallons of blood! This is not a movie for the faint of heart, it is not for the casual viewer. Finally, here is porn for Satanists and metalheads, made by Satanists and metalheads! It is pure evil and total blasphemy!"

After reading the responses to a previous BLABBERMOUTH.NETnews item containing detailed information about "Club Satan: The Witches' Sabbath", Bugbee sent in the following e-mail:

"I take great issue with the Blabbermouth readers for being so willing to attack their own without knowledge, confirming the 'metalhead is ignorant' stereotype.

"The first thing you should know is that mixing Satan and porn is the LAST taboo in XXX. This isn't hype, nor a joke, and as stupid as it sounds, the word 'Satan' is top on the list of porn no-no's. I've been told over and over again by old-school pornographers that making 'Club Satan: The Witches Sabbath' would almost guarantee jail time. Hell, the word "Satan" gets such a rise the trailer for was recently pulled from YouTube, and when you see the trailer I think you'll understand it was only because of its Satanic theme. You would think that crap like that would raise your dander. I could understand an attack on the society that labels your listening choices, rates your movies and tells you what you can and can not see... the society that is trying to jail the guy putting out my movie, and for what... making stuff that folks want to see — fucking pathetic. You'd rather attack your fellow metalhead and true Satanic warriors, hard-working brethren who have poured time, money and effort to give their fans the BEST BLASPHEMOUS PORN SINCE THE MARQUE DE SADE! Never cutting corners and always pushing the envelope.

"You question the use of METAL music? What a fucking joke — do you not understand the power of music, the power to invoke emotions? Metal in its purest form has always had a sexual energy, and hopefully bitches in chains on their albums covers or worked into their stage shows. Satan represents freedom, liberty and total unbridled fun — a perfect paring if you ask me. Metal without Satan is like porn without fucking!"
