SAVAGE BLADE Releases First Single

After 13 long months of writing, pre-production and recording, Canadian power metal outfit SAVAGE BLADE has announce the online release of its first single, "We Are The Hammer", the title track from its forthcoming debut album.

Produced by the band and engineer/amateur wrestler Andy Chute, "We Are The Hammer" was recorded at Funktion Studios in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, and completed in the late spring of 2008. Chock-full of vintage riffs, pounding rhythms, instantly memorable hooks and balls-to-the-wall vocals, the album is sure to strike a chord with fans of the NWOBHM and the classic metal bands of the early '80s.

"We Are The Hammer" is currently being mixed in Vancouver, British Columbia by producer/engineer Futcher (THE BEGOODTANYAS, HELLENKELLER, GIRL NOBODY),and the band plans to announce an official release date for the album in the coming weeks.
