SAVIOURS To Unleash 'Cavern Of Mind' 12" EP This November

Oakland, California-based quartet SAVIOURS will release a 12" EP on November 13 in anticipation of its forthcoming sophomore full-length and Kemado Records debut, "Into Abaddon". Titled "Cavern of Mind", the EP will contain the blistering demos for the new SAVIOURS tracks "Cavern of Mind" and "Raging Embers", which will appear on "Into Abaddon" in their finished form. Produced by Joe Barresi (MELVINS, KYUSS, TOOL),"Into Abaddon" is set to drop on January 22, 2008.

Known for their refreshing take on the classic metal of decades past, SAVIOURS are rapidly becoming frontrunners in today’s thriving heavy metal underworld. Spewing blasphemous lyrical hellfire over an endless arsenal of harmonized leads, locomotive rhythms and riff heavy, locking guitars and bass, SAVIOURS spit poignant venom that swings and thrashes somewhere between IRON MAIDEN, BLACK SABBATH, "Kill 'Em All"-era METALLICA and THIN LIZZY.

Fresh off a sold out tour of the UK as hand-picked direct support to progressive metal giants MASTODON, SAVIOURS has announced a four-week tour which will see the band bring its not-to-be-missed live shows to points across the U.S. while debuting many of the new songs from "Into Abaddon". The SAVIOURS tour will kick off on October 12 in Reno, NV and will see the band will team up with slew of their hard-rockin’ peers including WITCHCRAFT, EARTHLESS and DANAVA along the way. SAVIOURS will perform a high-profile show as part of the Kemado Records 2007 CMJ Showcase, set for October 18 in Brooklyn and will appear as one of the featured artists at the Fun Fun Fun Festival, set for November 3-4 in Austin, TX, where the band will share the stage with AGAINST ME!, THE SWORD, NEUROSIS, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY and more.

A taste of what SAVIOURS will unleash with its new material is available now as the new track "Cavern of Mind (12" Version)" has been posted online at this location. Originally recorded as a demo for the "Into Abaddon" full-length, the track will appear on the upcoming "Cavern of Mind" EP in this same form.
