SAXON Announces U.K. Tour

November 24, 2010

Mighty English heavy metal legends SAXON return to the U.K. in April with 12 dates as part 1 of their world tour 2011. They will be joined on this tour by WOLFSBANE and FURY UK.

SAXON will release the long-awaited follow up to its current album, "Into The Labyrinth", in March. The album will feature at least one special guest. Their recent DVD, "Heavy Metal Thunder", was recently nominated for best DVD of the year by Classic Rock magazine.

The band has had a busy year, which included performing a blinding set at Download in June, where to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first Monsters of Rock show, they played their legendary "Wheels of Steel" album in its entirety for the first time ever.

As is becoming an almost yearly custom for SAXON, they will perform at the 02 Shepherds Bush Empire in London on St. Georges Day, April 23, which promises to be a loud, rocking celebration of England's patron saint's day.
