SAXON Frontman BIFF BYFORD's Autobiography: First Excerpt Available For Download

SAXON's official web site has been updated with the first excerpt from the soon-to-be-released autobiography by the band's singer, Biff Byford. Acccording to a posting on the site, the book, entitled "Never Surrender (Or Nearly Good Looking)" (cover),will be released in April via I.P. Publishing and will be on sale at your local bookstore and via various online retailers, including www.metaltix.com. Distribution in the U.K. will be handled by Gazelle Book Services Limited.

As reported yesterday, SAXON has been forced to cancel their previously announced British and Irish tour dates "because Biff has a throat infection and bad case of flu," according to a statement posted on the band's official web site.

Audio samples of all ten tracks that are set to appear on SAXON's upcoming album, "The Inner Sanctum", and the CD artwork have been posted online on the band's newly re-launched web site.

SAXON will release "The Inner Sanctum" in Europe on March 5 (Germany: March 2, U.S.: April 3) via SPV Records.

"The Inner Sanctum" will be available as a digipack with a bonus DVD and as a jewel case, featuring a bonus track.
