SAXON's Appearance On 'Get Your Act Together' U.K. TV Show To Re-Air This Weekend

May 18, 2007

SAXON appearance on the "Get Your Act Together with Harvey Goldsmith" documentary series on U.K.'s Channel 4 — in which legendary Live Aid and Live 8 promoter Harvey Goldsmith attempted "to help revive the fortunes of six entertainment businesses in desperate need of a boost, and set them back on the path to the big time" — will re-air on Sunday, May 20 at 1:25 a.m. on . Goldsmith's task with SAXON was to get the band a hit single in Britain. The program, which was originally broadcast on April 10, was followed by an accompanying E4 series, "Get Your Act Together: The Showdown", which went behind the scenes of the show and reunited Harvey with each act.

SAXON last month released its "anti-gun-crime" single, "If I Was You", in the U.K. via SPV Records. All proceeds from the single will be split equally between The Non Violence Foundation and the Gun Control Network.

SAXON's video for "If I Was You" has been posted at YouTube. The track comes off the British heavy metal legends' latest album, "The Inner Sanctum", which was released in early March.
