SAXON To Perform Entire 'Wheels Of Steel' Album At U.K.'s DOWNLOAD Festival

According to a Twitter message by the organizer of the U.K.'s annual Download festival, Andy Copping, British heavy metal legends SAXON will perform their classic 1980 album "Wheels of Steel" in its entirety at this year's event, which is scheduled to take place June 11-13, 2010 at Donington Park, United Kingdom.

SAXON's second album, "Wheels of Steel" spawned two hit singles — the title track and the crowd favorite "747 (Strangers in the Night)". The title track is also featured in the video games Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City and Brütal Legend. It has also been covered by L.A. GUNS on the album "Rips The Covers Off".
