SCALE THE SUMMIT: 'Carving Desert Canyons' Artwork, Track Listing Revealed

SCALE THE SUMMIT, the Houston-based progressive metal band, will unveil its Prosthetic Records debut, "Carving Desert Canyons", on February 17. A track from the CD, "Sargasso Sea", is available for streaming on the group's MySpace page.

The industrious instrumental quartet filmed the recording of "Carving Desert Canyons" and is sharing four "making-of" clips leading up to release date. The second clip, featuring the guitar work founding members Chris Letchford and Travis Levrier, can be viewed below. The CD was recorded this past summer at New Jersey's Nut House Recording Studio with producer Tom Beaujour.

"Carving Desert Caravans" is the follow-up to SCALE THE SUMMIT's self-financed full-length debut, "Monument", which received critical praise upon its release in 2007.
