SCALE THE SUMMIT To Embark On Month-Long Tour

February 20, 2008

Houston's SCALE THE SUMMIT has confirmed plans to tour from late this month into late March across the southern and eastern United States, playing with a handful of different bands along the way, including several shows with GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT and an appearance by the instrumental quartet at Austin, Texas' South By Southwest music festival on March 14.

In the meantime, SCALE THE SUMMIT continues to work on new material for the forthcoming Prosthetic Records debut, which is tentatively scheduled for a late 2008 release. "We're all very excited about working with Prosthetic Records and are looking forward to what we will accomplish together in the future," guitarist Chris Letchford previously stated." We are currently preparing to go out on the road in 2008 in support of our current release 'Monument', while also showcasing the new material that we have written for our first Prosthetic release. The new songs have really helped us solidify our signature sound, so expect to hear more evolved, face melting instrumental jams from SCALE THE SUMMIT!"

Formed in Los Angeles in 2004, the band has previously released the self-financed full-length "Monument", which has been receiving positive press worldwide.
