SCAR SYMMETRY To Tour North America In November/December

Swedish progressive melodic death metal icons SCAR SYMMETRY will return to the North American continent once again in November/December as part of "The Unseen Empire" North American tour.

Commented SCAR SYMMETRY guitarist Per Nilsson: "It is with great joy that we can finally make it official: next month we'll return to North America for our very first North American headlining tour! No more thirty- or forty-minute sets; this time you will get the full monty — a setlist jam-packed with songs from all our albums, and we might even throw in a few surprises! Along with us, we're bringing melodeath super virtuosos THREAT SIGNAL, progressive masterminds STEALING AXION and space deathcore aficionados LORD OF WAR. It's gonna be a shredfest!"

Nov. 24 - Springfield, VA - Empire
Nov. 25 - Trenton, NJ - Championship Bar
Nov. 26 - Montreal, QC - Foufounes Electriques
Nov. 27 - Ottawa, ON - Maverick's

Many more dates will be added.

SCAR SYMMETRY's latest album, "The Unseen Empire", sold around 1,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 11 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"The Unseen Empire" was released on April 15, 2011 in Europe and May 17, 2011 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records.
