SCARPOINT Drummer To Undergo Heart Surgery
January 25, 2009Drummer Erik Thyselius of the Swedish metal band SCARPOINT has issued the following update:
"The next couple of months we will take a break and only write material for the next record. The reason for this is that I have a cronic heart condition that I have to take care of. Within a month, I will undergo heart surgery and the rehab for me will be somewhere in between 8 and 12 weeks. This is a good thing for me since the last month has been bad and with this operation I will feel stronger and be more in shape than never before."
SCARPOINT released its full-length debut, "The Silence We Deserve", in October 2007 via Blind Prophecy Records. The CD was recorded at the Dug-Out Productions with renowned producer Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES).
