SCARS Complete Work On New EP

Reactivated Brazilian thrashers SCARS have completed work on a new EP, "The Nether Hell", at Lúmen Studio featuring a lyrical concept based around "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri. The first 1,000 copies of the EP, which contains six tracks described in a press release as "a furious thrash metal and some death metal influence," will be distributed for free to the band's fans. SCARS recently opened for ANTHRAX on their Brazilian tour and were reportedly "praised by the crowd." Download samples from "The Nether Hell" EP at the group's official web site.
