SCARS In Writing Mode

Brazilian thrashers SCARS are working on material for their new full-length album, tentatively due mid-2007. The upcoming CD will be the follow-up to the band's 2005 EP, "The Nether Hell", which featured a lyrical concept based on "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri (same book that SEPULTURA's "Dante XXI" was inspired by). The EP's musical direction was previously described in a press release as "furious thrash metal and some death metal influence."
