Chicago's WLUP-FM 97.9 (Loop 97.9) morning personality Byrd will interview German hard rock veterans SCORPIONS next Tuesday (March 2) at 8:30 a.m. on his show. A Chicago farewell concert will be announced at this time as well.

"Raised On Rock", a brand new track from SCORPIONS, is now available for purchase via Amazon.com. The song comes off the band's final studio album, "Sting In The Tail", which will be released in Europe on March 19 and in North America on March 23 via Universal Music Enterprises. The CD was recorded at a studio in Hannover, Germany with Swedish producers Mikael "Nord" Andersson and Martin Hansen (the team behind THE RASMUS' "Dead Letters" CD).

After the release of the album and a three-year mammoth tour, which will take the SCORPIONS across five continents, the band will end its career. The group broke the news on its web site last month.
