SCOTT WEILAND's DUI Trial To Start Today

VELVET REVOLVER singer Scott Weiland finally got a start date for his DUI trial in Los Angeles — on Wednesday (June 30),a judge decided that the case should go to trial on Friday (July 2),according to MTV.com. Last October, Weiland was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs after crashing his BMW into a parked van.

In other news, VELVET REVOLVER are currently filming a video for the second single off their chart-topping debut, "Contraband". The "Fall to Pieces" clip is reportedly being shot in Los Angeles.
