SCOTT WEILAND Shoots 'Happy' Video: Photos Available

October 6, 2006

VELVET REVOLVER singer Scott Weiland and his solo backing band were in Los Angeles on Sunday (Oct. 1) to shoot a video for "Happy", a song that is expected to appear on his as-yet-untitled second solo album. Check out a bunch of photos from the set at this location.

Weiland's band for the video shoot consisted of the following musicians:

Scott Weiland - Vocals
Douglas Grean - Lead Guitar
Jeremy Brown - Rhythm Guitar
Jeremy Bonsall - Bass
Dan Thompson - Drums
Arik - Organ

As previously reported, Weiland performed a free solo show on September 8 at the Legends of Notre Dame club in Notre Dame, Indiana. It was the first time Scott played his new solo songs "Killing Me Sweetly" and "Beautiful Day" live. It was also the first time he covered the MARSHALL TUCKER BAND track "Desert Skies".

VELVET REVOLVER is currently working on material for its sophomore album, tentatively titled "Libertad", with producer Rick Rubin. The band's 2004 debut, "Contraband", was certified double-platinum for sales in excess of two million copies in the United States.
