Scott Weiland's first-ever live album, "Scott Weiland: Live", will be released on October 23, 2026, marking its first-ever digital and CD release, alongside a new limited-edition red vinyl pressing. Ahead of the album, the new single "Interstate Love Song (Live)" is out today, accompanied by a new visualizer featuring previously unseen clips from Weiland's live performances. The track offers the first taste of the live recordings, which were previously available only as part of the album's limited-edition Record Store Day release. Fans can pre-order the album and special merchandise by going here.

One of rock's most distinctive and magnetic frontmen, Weiland left an unmistakable mark on the genre through his work with STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, VELVET REVOLVER and his acclaimed solo career. From the alternative-rock explosion of the 1990s through the hard-rock resurgence of the 2000s, his singular voice, commanding stage presence and restless creative spirit made him one of the era's most recognizable rock stars.

"Scott Weiland: Live" captures Weiland and his band on tour in 2009 in support of his second solo album, "Happy In Galoshes", offering a powerful snapshot of the legendary singer in his element and showcasing the full force of his voice and stage presence. Featuring previously unreleased recordings discovered through the Scott Weiland estate, the collection brings together standout solo material with songs spanning his celebrated career with STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and VELVET REVOLVER.

The nine-track collection includes STONE TEMPLE PILOTS favorite "Interstate Love Song (Live)", alongside performances of "Vasoline" and "Unglued", VELVET REVOLVER's "Do It For The Kids", and solo tracks including "Paralysis", "Killing Me Sweetly", "Barbarella", "Missing Cleveland" and "Blind Confusion".

The album was first released on limited-edition blue vinyl for Record Store Day, where it quickly sold out. Now, following fan demand, "Scott Weiland: Live" returns on limited-edition red vinyl and CD and will be available on DSPs for the first time. More than simply a live document, "Scott Weiland: Live" captures an artist whose career helped shape multiple eras of modern rock.

The album arrives just days ahead of Weiland's October 27 birthday, offering fans an opportunity to revisit his extraordinary body of work and experience previously unheard performances from an important chapter in his career.

Weiland was found dead on his tour bus in December 2015 at the age of 48 from a toxic mix of drugs and alcohol. The vocalist, who was on the road with his solo band THE WILDABOUTS, was also dealing with self-medication, estrangement from his children, financial difficulties and a steadily increasing drinking problem.

A January 2016 report from Billboard revealed that Scott was dealing with hepatitis C, mental illness and the knowledge that both his parents had cancer in the final months of his life.

In addition to STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, Scott fronted VELVET REVOLVER from 2004 through 2008. He rejoined STP in 2008 after a six-year hiatus, but was dismissed from the group in 2013 due to his erratic behavior.
