SCREAMIN' DAEMON Drummer Quits To Focus On THE ROTTED

April 26, 2008

After spending over three years in SCREAMIN' DAEMON promoting the band's debut album and recording the drums for the yet-to-be-completed second CD, drummer Nathaniel "Nate" Gould has decided to relinquish the drum throne for the DAEMON.

Having recently joined fellow countrymen THE ROTTED (formerly GOREROTTED),Nate felt it was the best decision for both bands and himself.

Commented Nate: "I can't see how I can give 100% to both bands. The schedule I'm going to have is going to be much too hectic for me to continue in SCREAMIN' DAEMON, and I personally don't like the idea of spreading myself thin. It just dilutes the content and doesnt do justice to either band. Also the rate at which the new SCREAMIN' DAEMON album is being made helped my decision to leave. It's been over a year and a half since I recorded the drums for the second DAEMON album and it's still in the works. I feel like I'm on a different wavelength with regards to what I do with my time. Having said that, I will always hold dear the good times, experiences and memories that i had on the road, meeting and playing with some great people and I wish the band all the best in its future endeavours!"

No replacement has been announced.

SCREAMIN' DAEMON is the the UK-based metal act featuring guitarist Gian Pyres (DRAGONLORD, CRADLE OF FILTH, EXTREME NOISE TERROR).

The band's debut album, "The Decline of the English Murder", was released in late 2004 via IBD Records.
