Seattle's MIDNIGHT IDÖLS Get Back To Their Metal Roots
January 1, 2006Seattle-based NWOBHM-influenced band the MIDNIGHT IDÖLS have just released their self-produced debut album "We Rule The Night", on their own label. The group started with ex-members of Seattle hardcore bands such as OFFICER DOWN, LAST GASP, and the VACCINES getting back to their metal roots. The result is a "full-on blast back to the metal sound of the early '80s — IRON MAIDEN, SAXON, TYGERS OF PAN TANG, EXCITER, and the SCORPIONS..... it's all here,' according to a press release.
MIDNIGHT IDÖLS were recently joined by former Metal Blade recording artist/guitar virtuoso Russ Stefanovich (ex-BITTER END). Check out the album songs "Satan's Son", "Leather and Weed" and "Drinkin' Time" at www.myspace.com/idols.
