SEBASTIAN BACH: AXL ROSE Is 'A F**king Genius'

September 20, 2007

Greg Haymes of TimesUnion.com recently conducted an interview with former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach. A couple of excerpts from the chat follow:

On his upcoming solo album, "Angel Down":

"The album is finished, and it fucking rocks, let me tell ya. It's just awesome. The songs are fucking great, and I can't wait for you to hear it."

"I can't fucking believe it. I just can't fucking believe that Axl fucking Rose [of GUNS N' ROSES] is singing on my record. Not just one song, either. He's singing on three songs, dude. He's the best. He's just the best.

"The thing about Axl is that he's a fucking genius. I've heard 'Chinese Democracy' and it rocks, dude. In fact, I sing on one of the songs, 'Sorry.' He's so prolific, dude, that he's recorded enough material for at least three albums, and it's all fucking awesome. It has the rawness and the power of 'Appetite For Destruction', but it also has the grandiosity of 'November Rain'. It's just fucking awesome."

On being a contestant on MTV's lastest "reality" show concoction, "Celebrity Rap Superstar":

"Have you seen the show? I can't believe that MTV actually hands me a microphone each week, and we do the show live, you know what I mean? It's awesome. The first week I did LL COOL J's 'Mama Said Knock You Out', and the next week I did TUPAC's 'California Love'. On the last one, we each had to write our own rap, so I did a thing that I wrote called '1 4 Tha Money', which is how I look at the whole show, dude."
