SEBASTIAN BACH Guitarist 'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK Checks In From The Road

August 17, 2008

SEBASTIAN BACH guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak — who is also a member of PAINMUSEUM and HALFORD — has issued the following update from the road:

"I am sitting on the bus parked somewhere outside an Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Maryland Heights, MO. Semi-trucks are heating up the already steaming hot air outside. About eight tour buses all parked alongside greeted us as we rolled out out of our bunks after a good night of partying.... yeah, this is the life I dreamed of as a little kid.

"We have been having a great, great time on the 'Angel Down' tour this year and we are nearing the end of our U.S. run with DOKKEN and POISON. I have been enjoying myself meeting many new people while tearing across the U.S. And, I must say that Bret [Michaels] and everyone in POISON and their crew has treated us with respect and much professionalism. So, thank you.

"We would like to also thank FYE for looking after the release of Baz's 'Angel Down' album. As many of you might know, the album is available in limited edition with the 'Roadrage' DVD inside. Expect behind-the-scenes footage from the recording studio while recording the album and some insane live footage from our recent tour GUNS N' ROSES.

"The other day we played the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoge Falls, OH. Memories flooded back as I remember playing the same place in 2000 with HALFORD while touring with IRON MAIDEN. I was just a green-eyed kid happy to play my Flying V in front of as many people as possible. Returning to many of the same places feels great and you know, to think of it now ... I'm still happy playing my Jackson Rhoads in front of anyone that gives a damn. I am also awaiting, finally, the September release of the HALFORD 'Live At Rock In Rio' DVD. What a great tour that was ... we have this documented on this release. Just like many of you, I can't wait to hold the product in my hands.

"But back to the tour. We are heading towards West Coast in the next couple of days. Last stop is the event at the Playboy Mansion. Hef [Playboy founder Hugh Hefner] is promising favourite playmates dressed in naughty schoolgirls outfits .... Hmm, let me think now .... yep, I think we can live with that, ha.

"Towards the end of the year I'll be finalizing together a metal guitar instructional DVD and I have another album written and demoed. So, expect some shredding new music in 2009 as well."
