SEBASTIAN BACH: "I Did Not Plead Guilty To Anything"
July 25, 2002Contrary to previous reports that former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach had pleaded guilty to marijuana possession earlier this week, Bach's attorney Frank DeSevo released the following statement today: "Sebastian pled guilty to nothing and was found guilty of nothing. He applied for a conditional discharge, which was granted by the court on Monday [July 22nd]. Barring [any] problems within the next year, the charges will be dismissed."
Bach himself added in a message posted on his web site: "Yes, my hearing in court was on Monday, but I did NOT plead guilty to any charge whatsoever. FULL details on this debacle are IMMINENT on this page & ALL the facts about this incident will be posted right here in the next day or so."
Sebastian was arrested on March 13th after a confrontation with a bartender at the Lincroft Inn in Middletown, New Jersey, and charged with disorderly conduct, possession of under 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
