SEBASTIAN BACH: '(Love Is) A Bitchslap' Video Available

January 10, 2008

Former SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach has released the first video from his new solo album, "Angel Down". The clip for "(Love Is) A Bitchslap", which was completed at Macabre studios in New Jersey, is "a live performance video, filmed at the sold-out Calgary Saddledome and Winnipeg MTS Centre shows," says Sebastian. "The video kicks ass and I can't wait for you all to see it!! The band is rockin' and we played to over 40,000 of you people those two nights, so on behalf of the band, thanks for letting us star in YOUR video, Calgary and Winnipeg!!"

An audio interview with Sebastian Bach conducted by Mike Metal of "The Metal File" on CHOM 97.7 FM in Montreal, Quebec, Canada is available for download at this location (14 MB).

Bach's new solo album, "Angel Down", has sold 21,000 copies in the United States since its November 20, 2007 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD is Sebastian's follow-up to 1999's "Bring 'Em Bach Alive", which has shifted around 20,000 units in the U.S. to date.

"Angel Down" was produced by Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, HALFORD, JUDAS PRIEST),and recorded at Sound City Studios and Under City Studios in Los Angeles, CA. Joining Bach in the studio were guitarists "Metal" Mike Chlasciak and Johnny Chromatic, Bobby Jarzombek on drums, and Steve DiGiorgio on bass. GUNS N' ROSES' Axl Rose makes a special guest appearance contributing vocals on three of the album's songs — "(Love is a) Bitchslap", a cover of AEROSMITH's "Back In the Saddle" and "Stuck Inside".
