SEBASTIAN BACH: The Only Way I Would Consider A SKID ROW Reunion...

August 20, 2008

2TheAdvocate.com recently conducted an interview with Sebastian Bach. Sebastian candidly talks with Erin Michelli about working with Axl Rose, his tattoos and much, much more. The rocker even gives up the details on the strangest thing a fan has ever shown him.

Regarding the possibility of a SKID ROW reunion with him on vocals, Bach said, "The only way that I would consider that is if we came up with some brand new music that was good. I would never just get together to relive the old days. That makes me nauseous to think like that — it makes me sick. To me, that's not real. To me, that's fake. I would be lying to the audience. If I got together with those four guys right now and just did songs from 20 years ago on tour, I would be lying to you; I would be a fake. Now, on the other hand, if we all came together like we did before and came up with some songs that were good, that we had a record, that would be totally different — that would be exciting — but I don't really foresee that happening. That's the way we rocked before — we made albums and then we went out and played them; we didn't just play stuff from 20 years ago. I can't stand that way of thinking. I know I'm different or… something's wrong with me or something. Everybody's [like], 'Hey, when are you getting together? Everybody else did?' Well, if David Lee Roth jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge, would I jump off the Brooklyn Bridge?' [Laughs]"
