SEBASTIAN BACH: The Show Must Go On
April 25, 2007Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach has posted a 75-second video update at this location. A transcript of the message reads as follows:
"Sorry about the confusion over the dates — the Australian dates and the Japanese dates. What happened was my drummer, Bobby Jarzombek [HALFORD, ex-ICED EARTH, RIOT], broke his wrist. I've played with Bobby for years and years now, and he is the greatest drummer that I've ever played with. My immediate thought was that I cannot do the dates in July. But over the past two days I have found out that there are a couple of drummers who might be up to the challenge. I look forward to trying out a couple of guys this week that I know are professionals [from] big bands. It's gonan be exciting. But the point of all this is to let you guys all know that the show will go on. Yes, we are coming to Japan; yes, we are coming to Australia. There was a lot of confusion over the Australian dates with GUNS N' ROSES, so I decided to cut out the middle man and text Axl Rose, and the answer that he gave me last night was, yes, 100%, we are going to Australia with ROSE TATTOO. And I could not be more excited."
Due later in the year via an as-yet-undetermined label, Sebastian Bach's new album, "Angel Down", will be his first solo CD since 1999's "Bring 'Em Bach Alive", and first release since 2004's "Forever Wild" DVD. Bach's band consists of guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak (PAINMUSEUM, HALFORD),drummer Bobby Jarzombek (HALFORD, ex-ICED EARTH),guitarist Johnny Chromatic and bassist Rob DeLuca (SPREAD EAGLE).

In a recent interview with Rock My Monkey, Bach stated about the upcoming CD, "There's been a lot of stuff on the record about… kind of the war was on my mind, having the country at war, and also having a nineteen-year-old son. It's kind of what the youth of America have in the back of their mind. Are they going to get drafted? It very well could happen. It's a scary thing. So that was kind of on my mind when I was writing the lyrics for this record."
