SEETHINGS Part Ways With Bassist, Announce Replacement

SEETHINGS, the new Swedish band fronted by former DARKANE vocalist Lawrence Mackrory, have parted ways with ex-DIABOLICAL bassist Lars Söderberg and have replaced him with ex-SELPH four-stringer Daniel Jägestedt.

SEETHINGS' debut album, "Parallels", was released in Europe and Scandinavia in October through Scarlet Records. The CD was produced by Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, STUCK MOJO) and Örjan Örnkloo (MISERY LOVES CO.) at Bergstrand's Dug-Out studio in Uppsala, Sweden, and is said to feature a "heavy but pop-oriented groove [direction]" that has been described as "a mix between LINKIN PARK, STAIND, A PERFECT CIRCLE and TOOL." A U.S. release date for the album has yet to be announced.
