The track "Urge" on the forthcoming full-length album from SEPULTURA will feature a guest appearance by João Barone, the drummer of the Brazilian band PARALAMAS. Barone recorded his contribution yesterday (Feb. 9) at AR Studios in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil where the band have been tracking the new album since early January. The as-yet-untitled follow-up to last year's "Nation" is being produced by Steve Evetts (SNAPCASE, EARTH CRISIS),and is tentatively scheduled to surface in late spring/early summer through SPV/Steamhammer Records in Europe, JVC Records in Japan, and FNM/Universal Records in Brazil. The group are still negotiating a North American deal following their split with Roadrunner Records early last year.

SEPULTURA have just released a covers-only EP, titled "Revolusongs", in Brazil and have shot a video for their rendition of U2's "Bullet The Blue Sky" — one of the cover tracks included on the CD. "Revolusongs" is tentatively scheduled to receive a European release through SPV/Steamhammer in April.
