SEPULTURA Finish Recording, Plan European Trek

February 11, 2003

SEPULTURA have completed the recordings for their new full-length album and are presently talking to several producers — including Joe Barresi (PENNYWISE, BUCKCHERRY, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, SKUNK ANANSIE, KYUSS) — about mixing the effort for a tentative late May release. In other news, SEPULTURA are expected to embark on a combined promo/club tour in select European cities beginning in late March and are starting to field offers from several European summer festivals. More information is expected to be announced in the coming days.

SEPULTURA's follow-up to 2001's "Nation" was produced by Steve Evetts (SNAPCASE, EARTH CRISIS),and is scheduled to surface through SPV/Steamhammer Records in Europe, JVC Records in Japan, and FNM/Universal Records in Brazil. The group are still negotiating a North American deal following their split with Roadrunner Records early last year.
