SEPULTURA Guitarist Jams With His First-Ever Band ESFINGE
May 14, 2007SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser has issued the following update:
"Last night [Friday, May 11] I played with my first band ever, ESFINGE. It was a great reunion with friends I don't see that often. We played all the bands we loved and this time our kids could see. Unforgettable!
"Thanks to all people involved in this great party!
"Thursday I played in a music Pub in São Paulo, where I jam twice a month with great musicians and friends from the scene. It was awesome! I love to have this chance to play blues and classic rock, have many beers and enjoy the guitar. I dedicated the song 'Sympathy for the Devil' to the Pope, who visited Brazil this week."
SEPULTURA recently finished filming the second video from their "Dante XXI" album, for the song "Ostia". The clip was shot on March 3 at a studio in São Paulo prior to the band's departure for their European tour. During the following week, the video crew and the main actor shot the outdoor scenes in downtown São Paulo. The script, which adapts the story from the book "The Divine Comedy" to the modern days, was directed by Geraldo Moraes.
