SEPULTURA Guitarist KISSER: 'The Baltic Countries Are Very Special'

July 24, 2007

SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser has issued the following update:

"I just came off the stage 15 minutes ago [in Vilnius, Lithuania] and the show was spetucular! The crowd here is amazing. The Baltic countries are very special. Here, Estonia, Latvia — all the shows were sold out and the people have an unique energy. We are improving our setlist also with 'Sepulnation' and I still want to put in 'Spit', 'Necromancer' and 'Attitude', making a complete set, with songs from all the albums.

SEPULTURA's setlist for the shows in the Baltic countries:

01. Dark Wood Of Error
02. Refuse/Resist
03. Convicted In Life
04. False
05. Dead Embrionic Cells
06. Sepulnation
07. Ostia
08. Crown And Miter
09. Boycott
10. Activist
11. Buried Words
12. Bullet The Blue Sky
13. Troops Of Doom
14. Beneath The Remains
15. Territory
16. Slave New World
17. Arise
18. Kayowas Jam
19. Biotech Is Godzila
20. Come Back Alive
21. Roots Bloody Roots

In other news, fan-filmed video footage of SEPULTURA's performance at the Masters Of Rock festival, which took place July 13-15, 2007 in Vizovice, Czech Republic, has been posted on YouTube.

The 10th episode of Romania's Metalhead TV includes a video interview with Andreas Kisser, conducted before SEPULTURA's July 12, 2007 concert in Bucharest, and performance footage of three songs from the same show. Watch it online:

Commenting on SEPULTURA's current touring/recording plans, Kisser said, "Our intention, really, is to play as much as we can to prepare this band to start writing new material. So we're gonna start writing a new album at the end of the year, hopefully to release next year, sometime in the second [half of 2008]."
