SEPULTURA Guitarist Opens For THE POLICE In Brazil

December 12, 2007

SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser has issued the following update:

"Last Saturday I had the honor to jam with OS PARALAMAS DO SUCESSO once again. This time it was at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro opening for THE POLICE.

It was amazing, a perfect evening. The stadium was packed, completely sold out, more than 80 thousand people from all parts of the country.

"The PARALAMAS gig was great, I played eight songs with them, the sound on stage was awesome and the whole group was really inspired, specially Herbert, the guitar/singer who is playing better than ever.

"THE POLICE came with a really good set, full of hits and perfectly performed, maybe too perfect, but it was great, they still jam like no other band.

"Thanks to PARALAMAS for this oportunity, to Stewart Copeland [THE POLICE drummer] for his kindness and support and all the beautiful crowd who enjoyed only like Brazilians can do."
