SEPULTURA, MACHINE HEAD Live Albums Get The COLIN RICHARDSON Treatment
June 8, 2002Veteran producer Colin Richardson (i.e. MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY) will commence the mixing process for SEPULTURA's forthcoming live CD, entitled Live At Brixton, on Monday, June 10th at a London studio for an August 26th release through Roadrunner Records.
As previously reported, Live At Brixton captures the last-ever performance of the classic SEPULTURA line-up of Max Cavalera (guitar/vocals),Igor Cavalera (drums),Andreas Kisser (guitar) and Paulo Pinto Jr. (bass),which took place at Brixton Academy in London on December 16th, 1996.
In related news, Richardson will start mixing the forthcoming live album from MACHINE HEAD immediately following the completion of the above-mentioned SEPULTURA project. As-yet-untitled, the album was recorded at London's Brixton Academy on December 8th, 2001 and is tentatively due on September 17th through Roadrunner Records.
