SEPULTURA Music Featured In Country's No. 1 Movie

August 7, 2006

Will Ferrell's NASCAR spoof "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" — which debuted at number one in the U.S. this past weekend with an estimated 47 million dollars in ticket sales — includes two SEPULTURA classics, "Desperate Cry" and "Inner Self". The songs play one after the other (without a break so they sound like one song) in a scene where Ricky Bobby (Will Farrell) and his arch nemesis, a French NASCAR driver, race one-on-one in their final showdown at Talladega.

As previously reported, Roadrunner Records will be releasing a "best of" collection from SEPULTURA on September 12. Aptly titled "The Best Of Sepultura", the CD will contain the following track listing:

01. Troops Of Doom
02. Beneath The Remains
03. Inner Self
04. Arise
05. Dead Embryonic Cells
06. Desperate Cry
07. Refuse/Resist
08. Territory
09. Slave New World
10. Biotech Is Godzilla
11. Roots Bloody Roots
12. Attitude
13. Ratamahatta
