SERENITY Pulls Out Of PROGPOWER USA IX Festival; SAINT DEAMON Steps In

March 17, 2008

Due to reasons beyond the band's control, Austria's SERENITY has been forced to cancel its scheduled performance at the ProgPower USA IX festival. Sweden's SAINT DEAMON has been named SERENITY's replacement at the event, which is set to return to Center Stage in Atlanta on September 26 and September 27.

The originally scheduled Zak Stevens (CIRCLE II CIRCLE, ex-SAVATAGE) acoustic set on Wednesday, September 24 has been upgraded to a full CIRCLE II CIRCLE headline show. Support will come from Atlanta's ECLIPSED BY SANITY. Tickets go on sale April 5.

Tickets for the HELLOWEEN and GAMMA RAY's pre-ProgPower USA IX concert on Thursday, September 25 at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia went on sale this past Saturday. After 48 hours, only 200 tickets remain. This marks the first confirmed North American date for the prestigious "Hellish Rock World Tour", which has hit Europe, Asia and Australia so far. Exclusive support for the Atlanta date will be provided by Denmark's MANTICORA.

ProgPower USA IX is inching closer to another sell-out, with only 40 tickets remaining.

ProgPower USA IX will be headlined by AMORPHIS and ICED EARTH. Also scheduled to appear are Florida's JON OLIVA'S PAIN, Poland's RIVERSIDE, Germany's IRON SAVIOR, Denmark's VOLBEAT, Sweden's ANDROMEDA, Florida's ROB ROCK, Italy's ELVENKING, France's SPHERIC UNIVERSE EXPERIENCE and Italy's PATHOSRAY.
