SERPENTCULT Preparing For Summer Festival Appearances

July 23, 2007

SERPENTCULT, the new band featuring former members of THEE PLAGUE OF GENTLEMEN and WELKIN, has issued the following update:

"First off, we're preparing to play some summer fests in August and September; Vlamrock, Meetjesland Metalfest and Zomaar Metalfest are on our agenda! Next to these fests, we're also preparing some dates with U.K.'s CENTURION'S GHOST to play in Germany and the U.K. Also we have a gig with the mighty CANDLEMASS scheduled on their European tour; we play with them on Thursday, September 13th at Trix in Antwerp.

"The vinyl version of [SERPENTCULT's four-track mini-CD] 'Trident Nor Fire' will be available soon! It'll be released as a gatefold 10" EP, and it should be for sale from 25 of August on, at our gig at Vlamrock!

"Furthermore, we're extremely busy writing new stuff. Last weeks have been very creative and productive, and we're assembling everything for the debut album. We hope to record this album somewhere by the end of the year, to get it released early 2008. More news on this soon!"

SERPENTCULT is:

Cozy (drums)
Steven (bass)
Fred (guitar)
Michelle (vocals)
