January 13, 2005

PearlDrum.com has uploaded a video clip of SEVENDUST drummer Morgan Rose's drum clinic at PASIC 2004 (Percussive Arts Society International Convention),which took place last November at the Nashville Convention Center. Download the footage at this location.

According to a posting on PearlDrum.com, "Morgan Rose closed the East Performance Hall on Saturday Nov. 13th, the last day of PAS 2004. With a very large crowd in attendance Morgan demonstrated how his band uses computer-generated tracks an loops to complement their music. Morgan brought his tech/programmer Big Vig along with him so people could get a first hand view of how SEVENDUST does it on the road. Morgan made sure every fan had a chance to get an autograph and a picture hanging for over an hour after the show."

SEVENDUST recently parted ways with longtime guitarist Clint Lowery and have replaced him with a former member of Tommy Lee's (MÖTLEY CRÜE) solo band. Clint is currently completing work on the debut album from DARK BLUE, his new band with Brett Hestla (ex-CREED, VIRGOS MERLOT) on vocals, Will Hunt (ex-SKRAPE, TOMMY LEE) on drums, Clint's brother Corey Lowery (ex-STEREOMUD, STUCK MOJO) on bass, and Troy McLawhorn (ex-DOUBLE DRIVE) on guitar. A spring release via Warner Bros. Records is expected.
